Frankly speaking I am not a big fan of Fernando Alonso. He might be a good driver but I still am annoyed at him for stopping the winning streak of Michael Schumacher.

Anyways, he finally looks set to take the seat Michael left for the mortal ones.

Formula-1 insiders claim that Ferrari is all set to announce Fernando Alonso as their driver for the next five years.

He is likely to start racing for them starting next season itself.

The announcement can come as early as September 11 this year.

Sources however say that the Italian team has not decided on which of their current drivers to dump… Felipe Massa or Kimi Raikkonen.

Both of them have performed averagely for the team this year. Massa is prone to making mistakes. Kimi seems to be lacking any motivation to perform.

If I was to make a decision, I would dump both of them and get Valentino Rossi to partner Fernando Alonso.
